Although we have developed calculator for you where you can just select your requirements and you can get the results but still if you want to know how things are being calculated, here is the breakdown:

p = (Total Guests * Average Slices per Person) / Slices per Pizza

For example, if you are having 10 number of guests with average appetite, you estimate that 2 slices per person will be enough with the detail of ordering large pizza having 8 slices. Then here will be the math

p = (10 guests * 2 slices/guest) / 8 slices/pizza = 2.5 pizzas

As you can’t order half pizza anywhere thus we can round off this digit and it comes as number 3. So you will need 3 large pizzas with 8 slice cut down to serve 10 guests with details of 2 slices per person.
