Pizza Hut sells three standard sizes in the US: the 6-inch Personal Pan, the 12-inch medium and the 14-inch large. Medium and large pizzas are cut into 8 slices. The 16-inch Big New Yorker is a limited-time extra-large that returns from time to time.

Pizza Hut Size Chart
| Size | Diameter | Area | Slices | Feeds |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Personal Pan | 6 inches | 28 sq in | 4 | 1 person |
| Medium | 12 inches | 113 sq in | 8 | 2–3 people |
| Large | 14 inches | 154 sq in | 8 | 3–4 people |
| Big New Yorker (limited time) | 16 inches | 201 sq in | 6 large slices | 4–5 people |
Pizza size means the diameter, the distance straight across the pizza. The area is what tells you how much pizza you actually get, and it grows much faster than the diameter.
Pizza Hut Pizza Sizes Explained
Personal Pan Pizza (6 inches)
The smallest Pizza Hut size, with a thick, buttery pan crust. It is a single serving for one adult or a meal for one child, usually cut into 4 slices.
Medium Pizza (12 inches)
A medium has about four times the pizza of a Personal Pan and is cut into 8 slices. It suits 2 adults, or 3 with sides such as breadsticks or wings.
Large Pizza (14 inches)
The most popular size for families and groups. A large has about 36% more pizza than a medium, but it is still cut into 8 slices, so each slice is bigger. Pizza Hut’s nutrition guide counts one slice as one-eighth of the pizza.
Big New Yorker (16 inches, limited time)
When it is on the menu, the Big New Yorker is a 16-inch New York-style pizza cut into 6 extra-large, foldable slices. Because it comes and goes, check the Pizza Hut app or your local store.
